The KSO is definitely a unique and special blessing to us all.” — Carol Landwehr, Ft. Mitchell

While the COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on how we operate, the KSO remains resilient and continues to safely perform in-person and online to serve the residents of Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati with engaging programs.

Comments taken from recent surveys help convey its impact:

“Accessible art and entertainment builds strong communities.” — Zoe C.
“With all the divisiveness and separation of this year Music brings us together” — Lisa M.
“Provided a safe respite during the pandemic” — Annie J.
“We want, and our community needs, the KSO to enrich our lives.” — Chad M.

We hope you agree. Your gift today supports accessible and affordable musical programs throughout our community. Now through December 31st, you have the opportunity to double or triple your impact! Thanks to the largest challnge grant the KSO has ever received, all gifts from new donors, and any increased support from past donors will be matched dollar for dollar. (You give $50, the grantor gives $50, meaning the KSO receives $100.)

Triple your impact!
Make three times the impact by becoming a sustaining member with a monthly or quarterly contributions. All recurring gifts will be matched $2 to $1. If you pledge $20 a month, the grantor gives $40. In a year, you wiil have given $240, and the KSO will have received $720.

No gift is too small. Your tax-deductible support is critical and will have an immediate impact in making unique and engaging KSO performances available next year. Your support is needed now more than ever.

Since the Spring of 2020, we restructured our in-person programs to adhere to health protocols and keep our Tristate audiences and musicians safe. The KSO holds public dress rehearsals for seniors and other "at-risk" on Saturday mornings of each summer concert. The KSO presented free interactive virtual education concerts, answering student questions submitted via text messages and email. In October 2020, The Symphony opened its 29th Subscription Series in an industrial warehouse. Since then we've played in multiple venues each one allowing for social distancing and enhanced air circulation. All performances are captured with 5 HD cameras and offered via live-stream too, allowing individuals to choose how they wish to participate (in-person or from home).

The pandemic's pall has significantly slowed ticket sales, and corporate support has all but dried up. Yet, thanks to the generous matching opportunity a grant or pledge can have twice or triple the impact when made by midnight December 31st.

Your help now will allow us to plan a spectacular 31st season of live and virtual concerts that includes the affordably-priced subscription series — chock full of area premieres, and special guest artists — plus an expanded free summer series in both Devou and Tower Parks, as well as free, fun and engaging educational concerts for greater Cincinnati schools.

Please help us take advantage of this generous matching gift. If you can't give now, a pledge of support will allow us to meet the match (email info@kyso.org). Mail Checks to KSO, PO Box 72810, Newport KY 41072. We appreciate your interest and generosity.

Your gift supports accessible and affordable musical programs throughout our community touching many:

• Teachers tell us “My students would not have as many high-quality opportunities to experience music if the KSO did not offer these free programs.”
• Subscription Series patrons believe concerts are “unique” or “different” from other events they could attend in the Greater Cincinnati area, and are very innovative.
• Summer Series attendees appreciate the free "family-friend concerts" and state “The KSO is important to the region’s vitality.”

Your vital support makes it all possible!
