Music Brings Us Together

Every KSO Summer Series concert begins long before the first note.

Families and friends gather in the beautiful settings of Devou and Tower Parks to share a picnic, reconnect with familiar faces, and settle in for an evening together. Blankets spread across the lawn, lawn chairs fill every level spot, and anticipation grows as everyone looks forward to another memorable evening with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra.

For many throughout our region, the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra's Free Summer Series has become a cherished summer tradition.

These Concerts Remain Free Because Our Community Makes Them Possible

Generous sponsors and foundation partners provide nearly half of the funding needed to present the KSO's Free Summer Series.

The rest is made possible by individual donors, volunteers, community fundraising efforts, and others who believe these concerts should remain free and accessible for everyone.

This summer, an anonymous supporter launched the $25,000 Summer Series Challenge with a $5,000 Challenge Grant, inspiring early leadership support—including a $5,000 contribution from a KSO Board member and a heartfelt gift honoring KSO arranger and pianist Scot Woolley.

Now it's your turn to play your part.

Because of your generosity, someone will discover the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra for the first time. Families and friends will gather in the park to share music and make memories. Years from now, today's first-time concertgoers may be introducing someone they love to the KSO's Free Summer Series.

Thank you for helping create the memories that become tomorrow's traditions.
